Flash Friday 55(Spring is in the Air)

A new beginning.
A new season.
Many changes,
out with the old
in with the new.
Morning dew
settles on a new
petal or two.
Fragrances from all
the new buds,
wafts in the air
so sweet as it tickles
our noses.
Sun shines bright.
Green grass
can be seen.
Spring is in the air.

A beginning from Hell

Ever have one of those days where you feel as if the walls are your bestfriend? Today is my day like that. My day where the walls seem to be the only things that apparently hear me or want to hear me. I feel as if I am in a crowd of people, like I was standing there in the middle at the beginning but as more and more people have gathered around I have been shuffled to the outer shell of this circle like I didn't exist in the first place. I feel as if to be noticed I have had to shout at the top of my lungs just to be looked at by everyone as if "where did that come from" facial expressions has consumed them all. I have gotten their attention for a brief moment only to have them go back to doing whatever it was they were doing in the first place. As if my words were simply just that just words that may have mattered for a mere nano second and then poof disappeared into thin air. Again I shout and repeat myself for what seems like me to be the millionth time. Again the looks overcome their faces and they seem to be listening yet again my words have disappeared into thin air. Oh well maybe someone at some point will hear me today but in the meantime I think I am going to find something peaceful yet enjoyable to do so that my skyhigh bloodpressure at this exact moment may come down. I hope everyone else out there that can hear me will have an enjoyable weekend!!! In the meantime if anyone is listening Cowboy Take me away!

Flash Friday 55(Be YOU!)

Four sides equals a square.
Round with no sides equals a circle.
How do you make that circle fit into the square?
Or how do you make the square fit in the circle?
YOU don't. So how does one so unique fit into a world that is so materialistic and ignorant?
Easy just be YOU!!!

St. Patrick's Day

http://sendables.jibjab.com/view/nHO1pxmN1gjhpSKa

Check me out doing the Irish Step Dance.

Happy St. Patricks Day

The little man in Green
Once I saw this little man,
who came walking into town.
His clothes were green as ivy,
his coat tails hit the ground.
The buckles on his shoes,
was cast from silver ore.
His walking stick of black thorn
is not something you can ignore.
His hat has a shinny
band of black velvet I believe.
The material of his clothes
was made from a special weave.
Who is this tiny man
that walks around so proud?
Where everyone takes notice
as he stands out in a crowd.
I hear someone call him
a king of his clan.
I think he is a leprechaun
all the way from Ireland.

Ireland is Calling

There is something drawing me,
to a place I've never been.
A land that's a part of me,
and something from within.

It may be from another time,
when I was not around.
But it is drawing me,
in a way thats so profound.

To you it may be a mystery,
why this should be so strong.
But in my soul I know this,
it's where my heart belongs.

The legends and myths,
are always in my mind.
And there I need to go,
to see what I shall find.

If for no other reason,
than to see what's calling.
The time has come for me,
to stop all this stalling.

For Ireland is calling me,
to see its emerald shores.
For my ancestery is calling,
and sometimes it truly roars.

I guess its like a favored son,
that's drawn back to this land.
For this is not something,
that I can understand.

But it is truely out there,
and begging me to come.
It is the birth place,
of my dear and loveing mum.

The Legend of the Shamrock

Long ago, St. Patrick
Taught the Irish about God
By showing them a shamrock
he picked from Erin's sod.
He used the Shamrock's leaves
to symbolize the Three in One--The Holy Ghost, the Father
And His beloved Son.
St. Patrick changed the hearts
and lives of all the Irish race,
and through the years,
in all our hearts,
he holds a special place.

To the right in the video bar I have added the Celtic Woman and Dropkick Murphy's for some extra added Irish celebration fun!!!

Flash Friday 55 (Splash)

Fragrant bouquet
exotic rose and coconut
to be exact.

The radio playing
the song Breathe
echoing in the bathroom.

Bubbles dance on
the waters surface.

Beautiful, elegant,
yet playful

Splishing, splashing,
relaxin, unwinding.

Random thoughts circulate
as my day playsout over and over
again.

Just to sit, relax,
and listen oh what a
priceless moment.

Friday Flash 55 (mmmm)

With every thrust of the hand.
With every lick and nibble.
Oh how I can't stop thinking of you!

Your package is such a wonderful surprise.
A mouth pleaser to say the least!

To think you live in a tree
making chocolate chip cookies just for me!

Oh you Keebler elves.
Time to stock shelves.

Live Laugh Love Willow's new journey

Live-We all do it everyday. Somedays harder and more challenging than the next but no matter what we do it. Whether there is a smile on our face or tears in our eyes as long as we are breathing we are living. No matter what happens we will make it through it and if it didn't kill us it will make us stronger or so the saying goes. Right now I am living just like everyone else but there is a passion growing in me and as most of you know that passion is revolving around Autism and learning more and more about it as my son grows more and more everyday. I love the progress he has made and continues to make. I love that my daughters all three of them have found ways to help him with different activities and I love that they love there brother.

Laugh-If I didn't laugh I wouldn't be living cause god knows my days are often under a black cloud lol. Perfect example the night before Thanksgiving this year I was cleaning the refrigerator and dropped the glass shelf on my big toe on my left foot and ended up with three stitches. While shopping at Walmart my car was hit and do you think someone saw anything? I hate Walmart and everyone knows that but I needed something that I knew they had and oh god who cares lol. Someone once said she can't remember a time she hasn't seen a smile on my face no matter what is going on. Again if I didn't I would be spending my time in a padded room lol.

Love-I am full of unconditional love especially for my family, friends, my work, my passions, and desires. Love is a wonderful thing!

So what is my new journey? It is quite simple. Or I say that rather nonchalantly I guess but, I have decided to start up a support group in my town and I so hope it trickles to neighboring communities and towns. The support group will be for other parents of children with Autism as well as a support group for sibs of autistic children. I am hoping to get this up and running by next month. So there you have it my newest journey.

Make a recycled piggybank

Today we got wholluped with a doozy of a snowstorm. School was cancelled and ofcourse everyone wants to do something. So in the March edition of Family Fun they feature a project titled Recycled piggybanks and ofcourse theirs are done in pink. Well we put a little spin on our piggies. We decided ours were going to be patchwork pigs. I used the pastel tissue paper and we modge podged our bottles and what turned out was a great bunch of pastel recycled papermached piggybanks.
