What if?

What if today was your last? What if tomorrow had been your last? What if the last thing you got to do was the one thing you would have never done had you only known it was the last?

What if? There are so many what ifs. What if you won the lottery? What if you got married in Vegas? What if you changed careers midlife? What if you did everything you possibly could just to say you did all you wanted to do just in case the "what if ever happened?"

Too many what ifs. Too many unanswered questions that go along with the what ifs. We all ask ourselves what if we did this or what if we did that? What if we had been this instead of what we are?

Do you ever get the answers to those what ifs? If you do are you happy with them? If left unanswered was it better never knowing?

What if? what a great prompt.

The spark of life

Many things can be someones spark of life. The sound of music, childrens laughter, the sound of a heart beating, leaves crunching under your feet, perhaps watching the waves crash upon the shore.

His spark of life was all that and more. He always invisioned that his love, his life, would encompass foreverness. A bond that would never be severed that would never end early.

He never thought that tragedy would over take his world. Now today, his life is slowly coming around. He is making progress. Although he won't talk about what happened out there on the ocean, one thing is for sure the passion still consumes him.

He has never once gotten back on a boat since that tragic day. He often sits on the pier just watching, waving, nodding. Afraid of something he once had to have.

Nora took him by surprise. A little ball of fire. She came into town just before the accident happened. He took a fancy to her. They began having long phone calls at bedtime periodically a text or two. The lust and wanton desires grew between the two. They became a couple, seemed overly happy and just were perfect together. Until that day. When he came back he was full of anger, hurt, and he in turn backed away from her. She tried to help him and he seemed to just keep getting worse. She finally agreed that this was the best decision for the two of them.

She moved on with her life, although she wanted to be a part of his life she soon realized that, that wasn't in the cards. She began seeing a local man who seemed alright for her. However she did not have that spark with him like she had with her true love.

It was late fall. The cider could be smelled from a couple of houses away. There had been a big bonfire on the town green and all were welcome to come back to the tavern for some drinks and food. This was an annual community thing. He couldn't help but notice her when she walked in. Nora was wearing a light pair of blue jeans and an off the shoulder green sweater. Her hair fell loosely on her shoulder in such pretty ringlets. Her green eyes always mezmerized him. Tonight was no exception.

He did not go unnoticed. She noticed him. He was rugged, five o'clock shadow, salt-n-pepper hair hazel eyeys that could bring a girl to her knees. He wore his jeans, boots and a button down shirt he looked so damn good.

She smiled and waved he winked and walked up to her. " May I have this dance?" he asked. She gladly accepted. Onlookers could see the instant connection a desire between the two. They could both feel the heat. They exchanged some words a few smiles then a kiss. You could see the locals smiling from ear to ear. Could this be a reunion?

When the night died down he escorted her to her car. They exchanged some more laughs, words, hugs, and kisses. This was his spark of life, this was the one thing he should of never let go. Life was in the shadows without her, he needed her, she needed him. Together they were going to become one.

Gorgeous sunset

Beautifully brilliant need I say more?

Beach Beauty

Anyone who knows me, knows I love the water. Nothing better than a day at the beach. Another day another night and here are some beautiful pics taken at sunset at Medeira Beach.

A Bugs Life

What a great 3D show!!! This show really was wonderful and ofcourse being in a Disney park you can only imagine the effects that went along with it. This was a show to let you know just how bugs might feel with all that we do to our environment, their homes, and what they are thinking it was wonderfully entertaining. We got spat at with acid by some of the bugs, the acid being water, we were stink bombed with a cloud of smoke, we got puffs of powerful wind, and many other lovely effects that had us laughing some screaming lol. If you get the chance to go to Animal Kingdom this is one show you won't want to miss.

Do not miss out on Animal Kingdom

Okay the last time I visited Disney it was thirteen years ago. So Animal Kingdom did not exist. Well it has been a big part of Disney for ten years now. The safari covers so much at Disney and enables guests to see an array of animals that you can't even get in the zoo. We saw reticulated giraffes, beautiful red macaws, white rhinos, tigers, zebras, hippos, crocs, monkeys and so many more.

The park is very clean as is anything to do with Disney. We traveled Africa, Asia, discovery island and dinoland. Everything was a wonderful experience to young and old.

We took in the musical of Finding Nemo yes it was a musical and yes it was terrifically done. The colors were vibrant and the actors were awesome. We saw a 3D show of a bugs life and that was wonderful.

We visited Rafikis planet watch which host a lot of endangered animals and tells wonderful tips on how to keep the animals safe in our environment.

I also learned while in the bathroom that a boa constrictor poops only once every 2 to 3 weeks this was on the door in the bathroom on the "scoop on poop fact sheet." Oh the things you can learn at Disney.

We got to see a wonderful parade, and whatever you do don't miss out on the safari ride too much fun and just so much to see. The guides are all so pleasant.

99 Bottles of beers and more miles to go before I sleep

Okay well welcome to my new blog.

Anyways I am here to say I am on vacation and what a vacation it is. I can't complain. Well only slightly and it really doesn't matter. I traveled from Massachusetts to Alabama. The Bountiful State. Bountiful of what I don't know. I went to visit my mom, a sister and a brother and tons of nieces and nephews. It was just under 1300 miles and I made it in 17 hours with five children. Yes five. Four of which are mine. After four days and five nights there back to the van we go for another nine hour drive to St. Petersburg Florida where we will stay in a family members condo and drive an hour and a half on the days we are doing Disney!!! Yes Disney, five kids, and driving. Can we say pass me a drink? All in all the trip has been successful. I still have hair that is not grey, have not had any alcohol, and I am still smiling. Dreading driving home but still smiling.
