Banging, throbbing,
excruciating pain!
Tears well up
I am too tired.
Need sleep.
DESPERATELY!
Any sound, any light
amplifies the pain.
My breathing
gets more rapid.
I try to escape
to a tranquil place.
Where there no sounds,
just a soothing breeze.
Still the pain is there.
